The Museo Delta Antico is divided into theme-based and chronological areas in four main sections.

On the ground floor you will find the section dedicated to the Roman age, where some of the most important finds from villas, public monuments, and tombs dotted around the Po Delta are exhibited.

On the same floor are the rooms dedicated to the cargo of the roman ship of Valle Ponti. This wreckage, shipwrecked over 2000 years ago, preserves exceptional and unique finds.

On the first floor, after a room that tells the story of the transformation of the area including climate changes and changes caused by humans in the last century, you enter the Etruscan section of Spina. Here, etruscan and greek ceramics mixed together, reflect the richness and power of one of the most influential cities in the ancient world. Lastly, the Late Ancient and Medieval section, which tells the story of the rise of Comacchio as trading post, centred at controlling trade routes with the East.
